Hi, What is the effect of caffeine on blood lactate. If caffeine has an effect on substrate utilisation than potential it could also be altering lactate production or uptake.
I normally have a cup of two of coffee in the am, I sometimes notice slightly higher heart rates (which are easy enough to account for) but am unsure of lactate readings.
