Thanks for your question:
There are a lot of classical testing procedure out there with rowing or paddling in connection with use of lactate information.
One of the limiting factors was in the past the speed control. So in rowing or inpaddling you can take actually paddle stoke / min into account as well.
With the new timex - speed watch you kann now do FACT testing very easy on the water as well.
You use anormal ( like in running ) protocoll with a incremental step test based on speed and HR as iun FACT test. After the first part you take inthe boat your lactate and follow the normal FACT procedure as mentioned on our Website.
You have to take your stroke numbers/ min into consideration as well.
The beauty really is , that now you have all your lab tech on board in the results immediaty.
