Hi Frank , thanks for your correction.
I hope you enjoy the way we discuss on the Forum. Open but critical.
How about the restriction or the enhancement of certain muscles in certain body position to avoid turbulance in airflow.
Think on specific breathing technique in people with scoliosis. The Turbulance may be caused not by specicifc tissue changes like in emphysema , but by mechanical bending of upper airways..
This may also occure in extreme aerodynamic positions in certain sports like cycling. ( Front wheel lower as we had a few years back.( perhaps in rowing - mechanical pressure or cross country skiing )
The extreme position actual produces a mechanical pressure on some of the airways and reduces the amount or restricts the amount of air being able to reach the actual exchange place in the lungs.
Now there is a lot other " restiction " out there and I am sure we will find out more.( O 3 hazard in Athene during the olympics for all athletes reading here may be something to think about )
Thanks once more for visiting the Forum and thanks for your great invention. We would not be there with some of our athletes without you invention. We may actually be your biggest Fan , because of you we steady find out some more " restriction " and can work on our weakness to improve.
I hope you will see in Athene some good results out of this work and you can be proud to be a part of it.
