Well as always we thought we where pretty good informed. Well as it shows, we are a decades behind, or they are decades a head. Physiological bike fitting. Dear Steve, Please let me introduce myself: my name is Davide Ferrario and I am the regional manager in USA for BTS Bioengineering. BTS Bioengineering does motion analysis in basically all its forms: BTS is the only company in the world that designs infrared 3D TVCs, wireless EMG devices, Video system and pressure sensors. Each device can be used stand-alone or being integrated with the other ones to offer a complete solution with NATIVE integration. As Juerg wrote you we are actively involved worldwide in bike fitting. They are using the EMG system to evaluate the correct position on the bicycle. http://www.bicyclefitguru.com/ AUSTRALIA: BTS is integrating our FREEEMG into the Biobike equipment, an innovative automated bicycle design to morph its shape to find the optimal athlete’s position http://www.biobike.us/ CANADA: BTS is beginning the collaboration with two exceptional people who are working on a great project: Juerg and Graham. They are now integrating the FREEEMG in their revolutionary performance evaluation system. The final device will be a generational leap into the performance analysis providing data that NO-ONE is able to produce. I am very exciting for this step because they will really make available an innovative system with unlimited applications in the sport and performance science.! |
