The new Polar Equine T56H W.I.N.D. transmitter

The new Polar Equine T56H W.I.N.D. transmitter is a coded and wireless textile transmitter with 2.4GHz transmission, which is disturbance-free from all other electronic devices preventing cross talk from other heart rate monitors in group situations.

The new Polar Equine T56H W.I.N.D. transmitter  transmitter is the new generation of heart rate transmitters for horses. This evolution of the WearLink Equine transmitter launched in 2007 has been fully developed in textile and does not cause any discomfort to the horse. It features textile electrodes made from conductive elastic fibres which adapt perfectly to the movements of a galloping horse. These electrodes include an absorbent cushion to ensure permanent contact with the skin and assure the necessary dampness for relaying the heart rate signal.

The electronic part of the transmitter can be detached to change the battery and replace the electrode strap.

Putting the transmitter into place is extremely simple: the + electrode is first placed under the saddlecloth, the – electrode is then fixed to the saddle girth and finally the transmitter is fixed to the saddle. The Polar Equine T56H transmitter is only compatible with W.I.N.D. technology receivers, such as Polar RS800, RS800CX and CS600. Its longer transmission range (over 15 feet or 5 meters) allows, for example, the harness driver to monitor the horse’s heart rate wirelessly from the seat of the sulky.

Polar Equine CS600X Trotting
Heart rate, speed and distance on a sulky or a carriage 100% Wireless. Record instant heart rate (HR), speed, distance, pace (min/mile), altitude and more.

The Polar Equine CS600X is specifically designed for trotting or driving. It consists of a Polar CS600X watch receiver, a Polar Equine WearLink W.I.N.D horse heart rate transmitter and a Polar Equine Speed Kit W.I.N.D. attached to the wheel of the sulky or carriage.

The Polar Equine WearLink is placed behind the harness, it transmits the heart rate wirelessly to the Polar CS600X receiver over 10m or 30 ft away. The transmission is digital and coded, preventing cross talk to other Polar receivers in range and interferences from other electronic devices.

The Polar Equine Speed W.I.N.D. sensor is attached to wheel of the sulky or carriage.  It transmits the speed wirelessly to the Polar CS600X receiver.

It’s oversized display can show 3 different information lines, like instant heart rate (HR), speed, distance, pace (min/mile or min/km)), altitude, temperature and much more. All the data is recorded in real time and can be transferred to a computer for deeper training analysis with the Polar Protrainer 5.0, Equine Edition software. The Heart Rate measurement is ECG ACCURATE and can be displayed in Absolute (bpm), average and relative (% HRmax) heart rate. It's easy to check and follow your workout and train at the desired intensity.
